Dark rye bread (leib) is served with almost every meal. Try kiluvΓ΅ileib (open sprat sandwich), smoked fish from Lake Peipus, verivorst (blood sausage) at Christmas, kama grain flour mixed with kefir, and the sweet, dark Vana Tallinn liqueur. Say "Tere!" for hello and "AitΓ€h" for thank you.
